As earlier reports suggested the One Plus 8 and the One Plus 8 pro were expected to drop this year. (However, with the latest COVID-10 developments, that seems highly unlikely). New leaks have pinpointed the exact specifications of the latest offering from One Plus 8, however, it is very hard to determine whether these will be the final specifications for the device as no official statement has been released by the latter. Further leaks even showcase a brand new color scheme for the One Plus 8, a fresh coat of Green that was showcased on the last generation of iPhones, only One Plus 8 opted to go for a darker shade.
Coming back to the specifications, the One Plus 8 and the One Plus 8 pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and will even possess 5G ready support – Even in India. Both the phones will come in two variants: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. Both the phones will implement a UFS 3.0 storage while the One Plus 8 pro will make use of the highly powerful LPDDR5 RAM.
Coming to the display, the One Plus 8 will have a 6.55-inch FullHD + Sumer AMOLED Display with a 90Hz refresh rate while the One Plus 8 pro will feature a slightly large 6.78-inch QuadHD + Display which will support a superior 120Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the current generation One Plus devices already feature an extremely punchy shooter setup, which will be carried over to the next generation of One Plus 8 devices.
The setup will feature a 48MP sensor along with a 16MP ultrawide sensor with an unknown 2MP sensor, which is highly rumored to be a depth sensor. The pro variant, on the other hand, will possess a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, an unknown 8MP sensor (which will likely be a telephoto sensor) and a 5MP macro sensor(perhaps). The new devices will also feature 4,300mAH and 4,510mAH powerhouses which will feature 30W wireless charging, which is a first.
However, all these speculations at these points are merely speculations and fans of the device will have to wait for an official statement.
